About The Position

Software Developer (Live Nation Worldwide, Inc.; Beverly Hills, California): Investigate and implant new technologies to improve team efficiency and data delivery to clients. Utilize new streaming and data delivery technologies and cloud storage platforms. Implement new technologies to better dynamically scale our infrastructure and make it easier to build and deploy code in a DevOps development model. Improve and implement new tools to provide more security to our platforms while also providing more visibility into system health through improved monitoring and alerting tools and processes. Improve team performance by investigating and implementing automation processes to remove toil wherever possible. Lias with development peers throughout the company. Interact with a multitude of other systems (payments, resale, entry systems) in North America and around the globe. After implementing new systems, closely monitor and evaluate them, looking for constant improvement. Closely interact with other developers, management, Project Management, Product Management, Operations, and a wide variety of teams throughout the organization. Telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • One (1) years of experience as a Software Developer or related occupation.
  • Must have experience with the following: OOP programming and programming languages (Java, Python); open source development tools (Maven, Jenkins, GIT); AWS (EC2, S3); Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD pipeline (DevOps); Spring Boot (REST API development); SQL; React JS; Backend technologies (Node JS, Mongo DB, and Websockets); ELK Stack for logging; Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring; Terraform; and working in an Agile development environment.
