We are seeking a Developer capable of working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. We are seeking an experienced Developer to support a technically diverse application. Successful candidate will be expected to provide software expertise in one or more of these areas: Java application integration, java enterprise services, AWS Platform, schema and object management.

Requirements

  • Back-End Development
  • Build Tools
  • Single Page Application (SPA)
  • 8 + years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), Responsive Design
  • Back End Skills: Microservices, REST, Node.js, JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.), Database (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
  • Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Experience navigating IBM Rational Applicaton Developer for IBM Websphere
  • Experience with Auditing and monitoring tools (Logstash, ElasticSearch, ELK stack)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
  • Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
  • Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
  • Develop and adhere to DevOps best-practices for developing and deploying using applications using.
  • Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
