About The Position

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, and developing well-designed web-based software code that is testable and efficient, using best software development practices to meet user needs. This role involves recommending software upgrades for current and future systems, translating User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes, ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing, and documenting every aspect of the application, service, or environment as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades. Requirements

Proven experience in web application development.
5 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.
5+ years relevant experience.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint.
Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end web development technologies.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
Experience with UI/UX design principles and translating design wireframes intofunctional applications.
Strong understanding of software development best practices.
Ability to recommend and implement software upgrades.
Experience in software maintenance and testing to ensure continued functionality.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.
Top Secret Clearance is required.
Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with modern web development framework and libraries.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of database management and integration.
Understand of web security best practices.
Ability to document processes and code for future maintenance and upgrade.
