About The Position

Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining application software that supports DoD mission systems Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, write clean, secure code, and integrate software components with hardware platforms FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-TF1

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical discipline (ABET/CAE) or associate's degree with four years of experience or six years of experience
• Active DoD Top Secret (or higher)
• Three or more p roductive years in software development (CSWF Intermediate)
• U.S. Citizenship
• U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret Level with Top Secret / SCI Eligibility

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in one or more languages (C/C++, Java, Python, or C#) and modern development frameworks
• Experience with version‑control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of secure‑coding practices (OWASP, NIST 800‑53) and ability to perform static/dynamic code analysis
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in cross‑functional teams
• Experience integrating software with hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet)
• Ability to produce technical design documents, unit‑test plans, and user manuals
• Preferred certifications are CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or any DoD‑approved baseline
