About The Position
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Developer Internship to join our team! What You'll Be Doing: This is a summer internship opportunity for a technically promising high school or college student with computer programming skills. The selected individual will be mentored by members of our software integration team to provide support to both internal and customer focused projects. The work is fast paced, exciting, and provides significant challenges, and opportunities to learn new disciplines.
Requirements
- College level courses in software development, system design, or database design and programming.
- Knowledge and practice in using C# or Python programming languages.
- Knowledge and practice in using the React JavaScript library for building user interfaces.
- Basic knowledge of Git and source code configuration management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework experience developing C#/Python/C++ software applications.
- Coursework in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics.
- Bash or Powershell scripting.
- Experience with YAML, JSON, or XML.
- Experience with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) – Eclipse, Visual Studio, PyCharm, NetBeans, etc.
