About The Position

We are a technology-driven industrial automation reseller looking for a Software Developer II to join our dynamic team. As a Software Developer II, you will work closely with our team of software developers and business analysts to develop cutting-edge software solutions that drive our business forward. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining high-quality, efficient code to help streamline operations, improve customer experiences, and increase efficiency. This includes employing SDLC practices such as pair programming, Agile and CI/CD.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Object Oriented Programming using C#
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Proficient in a .NET environment
  • Ability to make and keep commitments to the team
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills in both a classroom and independent study setting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • AS, AAS, BS or equivalent degree in a technology related discipline such as Computer Science or Management of Information Systems.
  • 2 or more years experience developing solutions using Visual Studio IDE and Languages preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop software solutions.
  • Design, develop and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented software components that support our business processes using C# and Visual Studio.
  • Develop frontend UI components using Razor C# syntax, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and the Angular framework
  • Manage code changes, project status and automated build and deployment pipelines through Azure DevOps
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and test plans
  • Work closely with our QA team to ensure that software products meet quality standards and are delivered on time
  • Engage in continuous self-improvement and team improvement activities including but not limited to independent study of technical topics and peer to peer training
  • Stay up to date with the latest software development trends, tools, and techniques.
