About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. Position requires: Delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems: Docker containers, Jenkins, and lambda functions; C, C++, or Java; Python or Perl; Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals; Networking protocols (TCP/IP and HTTP) and standard network architectures including RESTful APIs; Databases, NoSQL systems, and storage and distributed persistence technologies: NoSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB; Implementing CICD pipelines for deployments and testing: Maven, Gradle, and Docker

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
