About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. Position requires: Delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems: Docker containers, Jenkins, and lambda functions; C, C++, or Java; Python or Perl; Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals; Networking protocols (TCP/IP and HTTP) and standard network architectures including RESTful APIs; Databases, NoSQL systems, and storage and distributed persistence technologies: NoSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB; Implementing CICD pipelines for deployments and testing: Maven, Gradle, and Docker

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
Delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems: Docker containers, Jenkins, and lambda functions
C, C++, or Java
Python or Perl
Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
Networking protocols (TCP/IP and HTTP) and standard network architectures including RESTful APIs
Databases, NoSQL systems, and storage and distributed persistence technologies: NoSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
Implementing CICD pipelines for deployments and testing: Maven, Gradle, and Docker

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
