About The Position

The Software Business Analyst Lead provides comprehensive advance level support to Soft-Pak employees to assist them with their tasks of supporting end users. The SBA Lead is recognized as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in multiple areas and manages major projects in addition to providing support to employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ work experience in the solid (or liquid) waste and recycling industry, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and IBM Query.

Nice To Haves

  • Soft-Pak software experience or software helpdesk experience is preferred.
  • Experience using Crystal Reports or Microsoft Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advance assistance to Soft-Pak employees on the installation and/or use of the Soft-Pak software.
  • Assist in business application to ensure the most efficient use of the software and aid with any questions or issues that arise.
  • Use proper departmental procedures for issue control, problem resolution, reporting and issue escalation in accordance with the Support Services Department procedures.
  • Communicate with other Soft-Pak staff on responding expeditiously to the customer's questions or problems to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and increase personal knowledge on applicable products and applications via training, documentation and personal research.
  • Achieve departmental performance objectives and goals for service level and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in annual users’ meetings and other training sessions when required.
  • Lead regular training sessions and various team meetings for both employees and end users; to include scheduling, preparing, facilitating, and providing applicable knowledge documentation.
  • Assist in Quality Assurance (Q&A) testing and documentation.
  • Provide after-hours emergency support to our customers on a rotating basis.
  • Assist with and manage higher level projects or training as requested by customers.
  • Assist with projects required to organize and/or maintain Soft-Pak internal processes and procedures.
  • Perform daily SBA Supervisor tasks as needed when SBA Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Minimal travel is required.
