Peraton is seeking to fill a critical role for a Software Architect, Lead Associate to support critical missions within Peraton's Risk Decision Group (RDG). The ideal candidate provides architectural and big picture oversight for development of new or enhanced products. Articulates the architectural vision, conceptualizes, and experiments with alternative architectural approaches, creates models and component and interface specification documents, and validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions. Works with various product developers, product managers, and customer application experts to create software products containing required features and modifications. Provides technical advice to other departments within the organization and may be responsible for integrating components built by product developers. Works without supervision on highly complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Highly skilled with extensive proficiency. Creates, modifies, and tests code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. Writes, analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic Performs or directs revisions, repairs, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Performs systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. Assist software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions. Excellent organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects/assignments simultaneously.
