About The Position

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking an Software Architect to work for our company. Summary: Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency Analyze and document end-to-end transactions posting logic across numerous organizations with complex business rules Identify and correct gaps in posting logic and system triggers to improve completeness and accuracy. Implement and validate mapping/attribute-level precision to support U.S. Standard General Ledger and related compliance requirements to improve traceability and reduce audit exceptions. Strong understanding of Oracle EBS 12.2.x ERP application as well as leveraging Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Methodology to manage cadence of software development requirements Support gathering new business requirements Develop process flows, detailed requirements by organization/transaction type, and an ongoing process for keeping documentation current. Experience building a phased delivery roadmap; translating needs into EPICs, features, and implementation-ready user stories. Design and deliver RICE-FW solutions (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms/Workflows) including interfaces, property/accounting integrations. Ensure compatibility of data and processes across multiple business systems; reduce manual and labor-intensive accounting activities through workflow automation and bulk processing. Assist with Test Cases and Plans supporting execution of Development/Integration Testing, System Integration Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop/review data conversion templates and ensure data quality and compliance. Apply a basic understanding of Enterprise Architecture to align changes with emerging designs and integration patterns. Work with Project Team to implement architectural/engineering changes leveraging cloud-native capabilities to improve performance and reduce operational costs. Support the implementation of new technologies (including AI/ML) where they drive measurable outcomes (automation, reporting, anomaly detection, user experience improvements). Work within Agile/DevSecOps delivery practices (CI/CD) contributing to incremental delivery, continuous improvement, and automation.

Requirements

  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).(Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Five(5) years of relevant experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x in Federal or DoD domains
  • Working knowledge of General Ledger Concepts and its interaction with upstream posting components
  • Software engineering experience delivering enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and automation in large enterprise systems.
  • Experience ensuring cross-system data/process compatibility and translating complex business rules into auditable, traceable system logic and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery (Scrum/SAFe concepts) and disciplined engineering practices (version control, code review, testing).
  • Clear written communication skills for producing technical documentation, process flows, and requirements artifacts.
