About The Position

The Count Room Supervisor is responsible for assuring the efficient and smooth operation of the Count Room in accordance with gaming regulations and accounting procedures.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Five to seven years' experience in casino finance or banking with a 4-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Valid gaming license.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Display strong work ethic and team work.

Responsibilities

Responsible for efficient overall operation of the Count Room and staff.
Assure that Count Room procedures are followed in compliance with gaming regulations.
Completion of financial reports, paper work, and security of information within.
Assure compliance of internal controls for all accounting and cash handling.
Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment.
Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.
Manage processes and procedures to reduce loss time injuries.
Review count room activities with Count Room Manager.
Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
