About The Position

The Count Team Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily department operations of the count team. This includes supervising team members to perform the daily drop of all slot machines and table games on the casino floor and the removing of bill validators from the machines and replacing with an empty one.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and/or GED required.
  • Must have previous experience in handling cash.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Must have basic computer and math skills.
  • Must be able to conduct hands-on training with verbal instructions given.
  • Must be able to use a 10 key and have strong computer skills.
  • Respond to common inquiries and/or complaints from guest.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be flexible and able to work early morning shifts and weekends.
  • Must be registered with the Gaming Control Board

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of S.D.S, or Casino Market Place is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete staff scheduling and determining staffing needs.
  • Communicate department issues, guest complaints and compliments to management.
  • Be responsible in maintaining a balanced vault.
  • Be responsible for the pick-up and replacement of bill validation boxes from all slot machines on the casino floor.
  • Ability to direct the carts which carry the hot & cold drop cans to and from the soft count room.
  • Accurately log/count and maintain all count sheet reports.
  • Enter count information into the computer systems to be forwarded to accounting.
  • Keep current the GCB letter of drop & count times as well as any emergency drop/count letters.
  • Perform weekly payroll functions for the department, including interviewing, hiring, & reviewing all department team members.
  • Maintain & repair Kiosks on the casino floor. Logging or calling for repairs to necessary company.
  • Pick up and replace the bill validation boxes from all slot machines on the casino floor.
  • Wheel the carts with the validation boxes away to be counted.
  • Accurately log/count and maintain all count sheets reports.
  • Enter count information into the computer systems to be forwarded to.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Other duties as assigned.
