About The Position

The Society Marketing Manager drives strategic engagement with medical societies to expand educational initiatives and strengthen professional partnerships. This role combines marketing expertise, program execution, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate clinical awareness and support product adoption. By developing scalable, evidence-based educational programs and managing interactions with society leadership, you will enhance visibility and impact within the healthcare community. You will work closely with marketing, sales, medical education, and field teams to ensure initiatives align with organizational goals. The role requires managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while tracking outcomes and continuously improving engagement strategies. Travel is a significant component, offering opportunities to participate in events nationwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with 5+ years of experience in medical education, clinical marketing, professional relations, or society partnership roles
  • Strong understanding of hospital systems, clinical pathways, and multi-disciplinary care teams
  • Proven project management and cross-functional leadership abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%–70%) and participate in in-person events

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage partnerships with local, regional, and national medical societies to support educational programs and workshops
  • Execute live, virtual, and in-person educational initiatives, including symposia and expert-to-expert interactions
  • Develop and track program metrics to assess educational impact and identify unmet needs
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, events, and medical education teams
  • Create and maintain marketing materials for society engagement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with quality, security, privacy, and regulatory standards in all activities
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
