This position specifically focuses on providing trauma-informed therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups who have survived traumatic events with a caseload consisting of community referrals and referrals generated by the Pelvic Health Department at Albany Memorial Hospital. These services may include: assistance with completing New York State Office of Victim Services compensation claims, crisis counseling and short-term counseling, long-term therapy, advocacy, and accompaniment through the criminal, family, and civil court proceedings.
