As a member of the Emergency Department you will work at one of the top hospital-based social work department were your discipline is immensely respected. Work with and be a part of the multidisciplinary health care team in the Emergency Department (ED). You will participate in comprehensive evaluations, provide psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention as well as discharge planning to pediatric/adolescent patients and their families. Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Department experience
• Experience in providing direct clinical services to patients and families
• Crisis related experience
• Experience providing trauma support to children/adolescents and their families in an outpatient settings
• Bereavement training/experience
• Knowledge of child abuse (recognizing and reporting)
• Resource connection
• Fluency in Spanish

Responsibilities
