About The Position

The Donor Social Worker conducts comprehensive psychosocial assessments,
individual psychotherapy, treatment plans, and support, including coordination
of discharge planning for potential kidney and liver donors or heart and lung
transplant recipients through all phases of care including
pre-donation/pre-transplantation, donation/transplant, and
post-donation/post-transplant.

The Donor Social Worker collaborates with the multidisciplinary transplant team,
complies with required standards for medical/legal responsibilities, and serves
as a resource to other allied and administrative staff within the Section of
Social Work and the Department of Nursing.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the
TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM
OPT extension program.
