About The Position
The Social Studies Teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the minds of students by providing them with a comprehensive understanding of history, geography, civics, and economics. This position is focused on creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking and encourages students to explore diverse perspectives. The teacher will develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards while incorporating innovative teaching methods, including blended learning techniques. Requirements
- Full time faculty must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university
- Transcript of all undergraduate and graduate studies
- A current ACSI certificate is required for employment
- State Teaching Certificate is preferred
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development and staff training.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover the social studies curriculum.
