About The Position
Bishop Chatard High School is seeking a Social Studies teacher to begin in the 2026-2027 school year. This is a long term position. Bishop Chatard is a dynamic educational environment for young men and women with different life experiences, is directed to the success of each student, focused on the growth of the whole person, and modeled on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Bishop Chatard High School prepares students for a life-long commitment to faith, learning, leadership and service. Responsibilities
- Support the whole person's growth and development of all students.
- Work with other teachers in our school and effectively develop and deliver a rigorous and engaging curriculum
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration.
- Establish and manage student learning in a positive learning environment.
- Possess strong technology skills and be able to manage coursework and their gradebook on a digital platform.
