About The Position

This position is responsible for: Plans, directs, coordinates, and monitors the day-to-day operations of the Project FIGHT (anti-human trafficking) program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required, and three years progressively responsible experience administering and developing social service programs, with one year supervisory experience.
  • Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
  • Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
  • Work is performed in a day shelter environment where there may be exposure to physical health risks and unsanitary conditions.
  • Work involves driving a vehicle to off-site meetings and home visits where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates program operations and services.
  • Supervises all program staff including scheduling, reporting and appropriate record keeping; ensures appropriate training and development of staff.
  • Ensures work is in compliance with established policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Interprets and enforces policies and procedures in program; assists in program audits and develops/communicates procedural changes necessary to make corrective action to ensure compliance with changing program requirements.
  • Develops and designates customized training related to human trafficking and the FIGHT program.
  • Develop and maintain community and professional networks, as well as building and strengthening the network of partnerships and efforts.
  • Works closely with the development department to market Porject FIGHT and support organizational fund raising for the department.
  • Participates in regular on-call rotation for new cases or referrals.
  • Carries a limited case load of clients, as needed, that connects clients to resources, provides needed services and case management plan.
