About The Position

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Primary Function/General Purpose of Position Provides direct patient care under the guidance of a designated healthcare professional in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and within policies, procedures, and guidelines of Bon Secours Mercy Health. Leads social services in collaboration with the medical director and designated BH leader. Requirements

  • Required to have one of the following: Licensed Social Work (LSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) (required if employed in Ohio and Kentucky)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (required if employed in Ohio and Kentucky)
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) (preferred)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (preferred)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) (preferred)
  • Licensed professional counselors (LPC) (preferred)
  • Masters, Social Work, Social Administration, Counseling, or Expressive Therapy (required)
  • 1 year in healthcare, social or human services setting (required)
  • De-escalation physical interventions debriefing
  • Motivational interviewing
  • Patient Centered care
  • Care planning performing medical and safety screenings working within an interdisciplinary team
  • Collaboration with community organizations
  • Virtual interaction
  • Technology proficiency
  • Documentation
  • Operational supervision
  • CPI Instructor
  • Facilitation of Mock Safety Events
  • Providing facility/community wide presentations focused on BH and Stigma
  • Participation in enterprise wide workgroups
  • Basic data analytics
