About The Position

Based on two or three selected topics, study processes of social transformation in domains such as education, health, gender relations, parenthood, or sexual identities. Illustrate the relationship between social change and social science theories. Gain skills to better understand how processes of knowledge building evolve by considering the actors involved in data and knowledge production (governmental institutions, community-based organisations and NGOs, social movements, and individuals).

Requirements

  • PhD in sociology or completed sociology Ph.D. coursework or equivalent training in social sciences.
  • Track record that demonstrates expertise and capacity to teach course on history of ideas in social science evidenced by teaching courses identical or similar or publications in this field.
