About The Position
Our church... is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We believe church should be a place where believers in Jesus and skeptics can stand side-by-side to study truth and ask tough questions. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways. Social Media Summer Intern.. .is a full-time summer position is designed to provide social media support to the Communications Team in unity with the vision of The Crossing. Our Social Media Intern needs to have a solid foundation of social media, ability to think creatively in a group setting, a can-do attitude, and good sense of humor. This intern will work in a varied, fast-paced environment and must be able to communicate effectively and meet deadlines consistently through self-leadership and time management. This position also provides opportunities for spiritual and personal growth as part of the summer internship. The summer internship runs from May 26, 2026 through July 31, 2026.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Strong work ethic, energetic, dependable, and reliable
- Trustworthy, humble, teachable
- Superior listening skills-willingness to listen and take direction, open to constructive criticism
- Ability to foster an environment conducive to open, transparent communication among all peers and leadership
- Good time-management skills
- A passion for the social media that will impact lives for the kingdom of Christ
- Ability to use basic graphic imaging editors
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
- Attend a service at one of The Crossing campuses on a weekly basis
- Passionate about their relationship with God
- Baptized after making the thoughtful decision to follow Christ
- Regard the Bible as God’s final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it
- Wholeheartedly affirm The Crossing’s Statement of Faith , including our view on Baptism
- Live a lifestyle consistent with scriptural principles
Responsibilities
- Work with the Communications Team through the ideation and execution of social media posts
- Help by commenting on, responding to and liking posts
- Bring new, fresh, creative ideas to the table
