About The Position

We’re looking for a Social Media Marketer and Copywriter to support our marketing team across organic social, storytelling, and campaign content. This role blends planning, writing, and performance optimization—ideal for someone who enjoys shaping a brand’s voice while staying grounded in what actually works. You’ll manage organic social channels, write and edit content across formats, and collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Support, and Sales to ensure messaging is clear, accurate, and consistent. This is a fully remote, US-based role reporting to the Head of Marketing.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and editing skills with clear examples of social or marketing content
  • Experience managing organic social media calendars and publishing workflows
  • Comfort working with performance metrics and using data to guide content decisions
  • Ability to balance creativity with accuracy, especially in educational or science-based content
  • Organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fully remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a year-long social media calendar to plan, create, schedule, and publish organic content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
  • Write post copy and source or select images for feeds, stories, and highlights using established brand guidelines
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust content strategy to improve reach, engagement, and relevance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to source content ideas and support key initiatives such as product launches, partnerships, and conferences
  • Monitor and respond to messages and comments across platforms to ensure accuracy, engagement, and a positive brand presence
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and appropriate medical or scientific credibility
  • Maintain consistent brand voice across all digital channels
  • Support SEO-informed content improvements in collaboration with the broader marketing team
  • Stay current on social media trends and thoughtfully test new formats, ideas, and approaches
  • Track competitor and partner activity to inform content strategy
  • Write compelling copy for marketing campaigns, including newsletters, email series, website content, social posts, and presentations
  • Translate product benefits and scientific concepts into approachable, customer-friendly language
  • Adapt writing to different tones and formats while maintaining clarity and consistency
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure grammar, voice, and brand alignment
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Support, and Sales to ensure messaging aligns with customer needs and business priorities
  • Adjust content based on feedback, performance data, and evolving priorities
