About The Position

As an Organic Social Media Marketer at Avenue Z, you will play a key role in executing and optimizing organic social media strategies for our clients. Reporting to the Organic Social Manager, your efforts will be crucial in creating innovative content that amplifies brand presence, fosters authentic connections, and supports overall business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute organic social campaigns that increase brand reach and foster meaningful connections with target audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media campaigns.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and their functionalities, particularly TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms for content creation, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of best practices in content marketing and organic social media strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing organic social media initiatives aligned with clients’ marketing objectives.
  • Create, manage, and optimize organic social media presence across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Meta, X, and Pinterest.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media content strategy and calendar aligned with clients’ goals, target audience demographics, and relevant platform trends.
  • Collaborate with account leads, creative teams, and additional service line marketers to ensure organic social content supports broader marketing strategies.
  • Ensure all social content aligns with campaign themes, target audiences, and brand guidelines.
  • Stay up to date on platform trends, best practices, and algorithm updates to inform content strategy.
  • Analyze competitor strategies to refine content approaches and capitalize on market gaps.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their brand vision and effectively communicate it through organic social channels.
  • Write compelling copy for captions across all posts to drive meaningful interaction and engagement.
  • Schedule all content within platforms to ensure consistent posting while monitoring and reporting on performance metrics.
  • Foster and engage with the online community across client accounts, including responding to consumer comments and messages as needed.
  • Ensure that content meets brand standards and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to produce visually appealing and compelling content (e.g., graphics, videos, GIFs) that resonate with the target audience.
  • Leverage user-generated content to enhance brand authenticity and engagement.
  • Coordinate with clients to identify key brand moments, launches, and events and translate them into timely organic social content.
  • Leverage earned media and PR placements secured by internal teams to create social content that amplifies reach and visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of organic social media campaigns, measuring key metrics such as engagement, reach, growth, and conversions where applicable.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the Organic Social Manager, highlighting wins, learnings, and areas for optimization.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine organic social strategies based on performance data, platform changes, industry trends, and client feedback.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including account managers, designers, copywriters, and paid media marketers, to ensure seamless integration into overall marketing strategies.
  • Support the Manager of Organic Social in leading team initiatives and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas, team initiatives, and content strategies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for your clients, ensuring proactive communication and excellent customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their brand voice, values, and target audience.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on campaign progress and performance.
  • Gather client feedback and collaborate with your clients to refine strategies and drive success.
