The Social Media Manager for Queen City Sports and Entertainment will oversee social media management and content creation for two professional sports teams: Anthem Rugby Carolina and the Charlotte Independence. This role focuses on enhancing the teams' online presence, engaging with fans, and driving growth across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of social media management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
• Regularly post text, video, and images that engage the target market.
• Monitor online conversations and address customer concerns via social media.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to develop unique social media campaigns.
• Analyze social media strategies and identify areas for growth and improvement.
• Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and measure performance against these KPIs.
• Research social media trends and inform management of relevant changes.
• Represent the brand consistently and professionally across all social media channels.
