The Social Media Project Manager is responsible for building brand awareness and driving engagement by developing, implementing, and managing the company's social media strategy across its global platforms. This role also includes evolving AIT's parent company portals, especially LinkedIn, writing and promoting meaningful content, managing budget and analyzing performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 5+ years Agency management, paid media management, community management, freight forwarding marketing roles (in-house or agency) (Required)
  • 5+ years Building, overseeing, elevating, and merging social media accounts on a corporate level, preferably in a B2B environment (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain social media standard operating procedures including acquisition workstreams, content management guidelines and more
  • Build social media site presence to increase AIT's brand awareness, drive traffic to AIT's social media pages, and encourage potential customers to join AIT's social networks
  • Uplift social media platforms that align with brand voice and guidelines, developing and updating social media page content (e.g., blogs, e-books, videos, product reviews, training/reference materials, technical white papers, webinars, etc.)
  • Plan, write, publish content that is engaging and relevant while collaborating with designers, copywriters and videographers to promote high-quality posts, stories and videos
  • Manage social media editorial calendar workstreams in project management tool (Asana)
  • Conduct market research to identify the social media sites and promotional tactics of most interest to target customers
  • Develop and implement social media promotions, informational/entertaining content, etc. to encourage potential customers to join AIT's social networks and share content with others
  • Work closely with internal global audience members to align messages, build campaigns and manage brand coordination, includes intranet posts
  • Generate detailed reporting highlighting ROI, engagement, growth metrics and campaign performance to redefine and improve results
  • Manage and implement social media budget
  • Performs other duties as assigned
