About The Position

Centr is looking for a sharp, creative, and performance-minded Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead the charge on high-impact, platform-native content that drives engagement, growth, and brand love. This role is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and creator — someone who thrives on turning ideas into scroll-stopping content that moves the business forward. As the Social Media Manager & Content Creator, you’ll work across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, and emerging platforms—leading content from concept through execution. You’ll craft ideas, spot trends, and bring stories to life using native editing tools like CapCut, while also having support from freelance photographers and videographers. You’ll own Centr’s brand storytelling on social—shaping our content calendar, driving platform-native concepts, and building a distinct brand personality that resonates with our community and fuels growth. You’ll also own Centr’s organic flywheel strategy: continuously testing, iterating, and scaling content publishing to fuel growth and brand discovery on channels. In addition to brand-building content, you will foster community with thoughtful community management with diligent monitoring and a variety of channel-native engagement tactics. Requirements

  • A social media pro with 5+years of experience building organic and/or paid content creation, managing high-performance brand channels.
  • A storyteller at heart, with a portfolio that shows creativity, clarity, and impact across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond— content that feels human but performs like a machine.
  • Proven ability to tie creative ideas to real business impact (sales, sign-ups, site traffic).
  • Deeply tuned into culture and social trends — you know what’s next before it hits the For You Page.
  • Hands-on and resourceful: you can concept, shoot, and edit with native social editing tools—or work with creators and/or freelance videographers and photographers to bring ideas to life.
  • Strategic and performance-driven, you care about metrics, growth, and how content ladders up to bigger business goals.
  • Comfortable leading a calendar, owning processes, and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating and working successfully with multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and gets things done.
  • Super organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

  • The ideal candidate has experience working in fitness, wellness or sports and/or with mobile apps or e-commerce-focused brands.

Responsibilities

  • Content Ideation & Storytelling: Lead social-first content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Concept, script, and execute smart, brand-aligned content that drives engagement, growth, and conversions.
  • Native Content Creation: Shoot and edit short-form videos and stills using mobile-first tools (CapCut, Figma, etc). Deliver polished but platform-native content that feels authentic, timely, and on-trend.
  • Content Calendar & Copywriting: Own Centr’s content calendar, ensuring timely, consistent publishing across channels. Write sharp, scroll-stopping captions that reflect Centr’s tone and connect authentically with our audience.
  • Organic Flywheel Ownership: Lead and scale Centr’s organic flywheel strategy. Rapidly test and iterate TikTok and YouTube content formats to accelerate organic reach, audience growth, and acquisition.
  • Community Engagement Strategy: Identify channel-native tactics for daily community engagement across core platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn.
  • Community Monitoring & Two-Way Conversation: Stay plugged into our community. Respond, engage, and capture UGC to amplify real voices and stories.
  • Content Ideation & Trendspotting: Keep your ear to the ground. Identify cultural moments, emerging trends, and creator collaborations that feel fresh, relevant, and on-brand.
  • Collaboration & Execution: Work with content creators, influencers, talent, and internal teams to produce high-quality, cost-effective content. Develop production briefs, shot lists, and timelines to ensure creative quality and consistency across campaigns.
  • Optimization & Reporting: Track content performance, pull data-backed insights, and optimize content based on performance metrics and A/B testing. Provide actionable reports on content performance to inform future strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with customer support, paid media, brand marketing, and other teams to maintain a unified voice across all channels. Ensure timely and efficient content delivery, meeting deadlines and creative quality standards.
