We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator to support the planning, creation, publishing, and optimization of content across our organic social channels. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital storytelling, understands social platforms, and is eager to learn how to leverage AI to scale, build and refine brand presence through content and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adjust tone for different platforms.
  • Experience creating social content including copy, video, animations, etc.
  • Understanding of major social media platforms and their content formats.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, TikTok Analytics) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for content creation and digital culture.
  • Creative thinking, design sensibility & story-telling capabilities
  • Familiar with editing and content creation tools (Adobe)

Responsibilities

  • Editorial Planning & Content Strategy Work with team leads and key stakeholders to help define Franklin Templeton’s corporate organic social editorial calendars across all channels.
  • Brainstorm and create social content strategies to support marketing teams around the globe.
  • Identify social content opportunities – including existing content re-purposed for social channels or new ideas.
  • Content Creation Create social content with compelling copy, visuals, motion graphics/animation, video, and other social-first ideas that align with Franklin Templeton’s editorial strategy, brand, and marketing objectives.
  • Create video storyboards and scripts for short-form and long-form social content.
  • Help shoot content, edit content, and apply motion graphics/animation to drive platform engagement.
  • Publishing & Community Support Upload and schedule content across social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, etc).
  • Ensure timely posting and adherence to platform best practices.
  • Monitor performance and assist with basic community management tasks as needed.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization Track and compile social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Provide insights and optimization recommendations to improve content effectiveness and channel performance.
  • Stay updated on evolving platform features, trends, and best practices to help guide content strategy.
