Moto United Powersports is a premier powersports dealership serving Northern Utah with a wide selection of top brands including Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea-Doo. We're dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a vibrant community of powersports enthusiasts. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media, Marketing & Event Coordinator to elevate our online presence, drive sales, manage our digital marketing efforts, and create memorable dealership events. Job Summary: The Social Media, Marketing & Event Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, managing our website content, coordinating manufacturer co-op advertising, and planning and executing dealership events. This role requires a deep understanding of the powersports industry, strong content creation skills, a passion for building online communities, maximizing marketing resources, and a knack for creating engaging experiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns, marketing initiatives, and events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business, preferably in the powersports or automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software).
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Passion for powersports and a strong understanding of the target audience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
  • Proven event planning and coordination experience.
  • strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Basic video production and editing skills.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel to scheduled events for planning and set up.

  • Experience with manufacturer coop programs is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy: Create and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with Moto United's marketing goals.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and live streams. This includes: Showcasing new inventory from I ndian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea-Doo. Highlighting dealership events, promotions, and special offers. Creating behind-the-scenes content showcasing dealership culture and expertise. Developing "how-to" content for YouTube, covering maintenance, riding t ips, and product demonstrations.
  • Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews across all social media platforms. Foster a positive and engaging online community.
  • Social Media Advertising: Plan and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to reach specific demographics and drive conversions.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay Up to Date: Stay informed about the latest social media trends, best practices, and algorithm changes, especially in the powersports industry.
  • YouTube Content Creation: Plan, film, edit, and publish engaging "how-to" and product demonstration videos for Moto United's YouTube channel.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, service, and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
  • Website Management: Update and maintain the Moto United website w ith current inventory, promotions, and relevant content. Ensure website content is optimized for search engines (SEO). Monitor website analytics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manufacturer Co-op Submissions & Monitoring: Research and identify available co-op advertising programs from Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea-Doo. Prepare and submit co-op advertising proposals and claims. Track and monitor co-op advertising performance and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines. Maintain organized records of a ll co-op submissions and monitor payments.
  • Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute dealership events, including open houses, demo days, ride events, and customer appreciation events. Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, marketing, and on-site execution. Develop and manage event budgets. Promote events through social media, website, and other marketing channels. Gather and analyze event feedback, to improve future events.
