About The Position

Are you known for your ability to juggle multiple moving parts while staying upbeat and focused? If this sounds like you, you might be the Social Media Coordinator we’re looking for. LV Collective is on the hunt for a detail-driven, people-oriented Social Media Coordinator to help manage our student housing social media presence across multiple markets. You’ll work closely with our team of Leasing Marketing Assistants (LMAs) in cities around the country—supporting their content efforts, reviewing and approving posts, and ensuring the right content goes live at the right time, in the right way. This is not only a content creator role—we’re looking for a coach, collaborator, and project manager with a strong understanding of great social, who can guide others and keep multiple accounts running smoothly. If you’re equal parts social-savvy and spreadsheet-organized, this might be your perfect gig.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social media coordination, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Experience managing interns or junior team members strongly preferred
  • A strong eye for content, even if you're not making it yourself—you know what performs and why
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Asana) and familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout, etc.)
  • Experience with Instagram, TikTok, and Canva required; photo/video editing skills are a plus
  • Can-do attitude; willing to work outside your job description
  • Skilled multi-tasker and self-starter with strong time management skills
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Lifelong learner and able to identify new learning opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team leadership ability

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day manager for a group of student social media coordinators, overseeing their execution of content calendars and ensuring timely, brand-aligned posts
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with student coordinators to review content, give feedback, brainstorm ideas, and support local marketing efforts
  • Review and approve content submissions to ensure they meet LV brand standards and align with marketing goals
  • Coordinate closely with on-site leasing teams to understand market trends, leasing priorities, and property needs, using those insights to inform content direction and campaign themes
  • Ensure consistent posting and engagement across property accounts by managing timelines and flagging gaps or issues
  • Maintain tracking systems for content calendars, performance metrics, and deadlines
  • Actively monitor emerging social media trends, platform updates, and high-performing content formats — and guide coordinators in adapting and implementing these trends across accounts when relevant
  • Recommend creative approaches, visual assets, or audio clips to elevate content quality and alignment with property storytelling
  • Monitor post performance and flag both high-impact wins and underperforming content for review and optimization
  • Track key performance metrics across all student housing accounts and organize monthly reporting
  • Analyze engagement, growth, and reach across platforms and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Summarize and communicate insights to the Director of Social Media to help inform larger strategy
  • Create easy-to-read reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Own the planning and execution of lifestyle photoshoots across student housing markets
  • Ensure content direction aligns with LV’s brand standards and each property's unique voice
  • Provide creative oversight and logistical coordination, including shoot planning, model coordination, and on-the-ground execution when needed
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Ability to work late or on weekends may be required
  • Some travel may be required
