About The Position

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to bring our resort’s story to life across digital platforms. In this role, you will shape the resort’s online voice by developing engaging content, connecting with our guests and community, and showcasing everything that makes Omni Hilton Head a premier coastal destination. From stunning beachfront visuals to behind-the-scenes resort moments, you’ll help inspire travelers to discover—and return to—our beautiful oceanfront resort. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
  • Expertise across multiple social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword research, social analytics, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to create high-quality creative content including captions, images, and short-form video.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and online marketing channels.
  • Awareness of emerging digital and social media trends, with the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, New Media, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of social media or digital marketing experience.
  • Experience managing business social media accounts and campaigns.
  • Understanding of social media KPIs, analytics, and audience insights.
  • Familiarity with web publishing and basic webpage design principles.
  • Strong research skills for identifying guest personas and target audiences.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and highly collaborative.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic social media marketing plan that engages target audiences and aligns with resort marketing initiatives.
  • Create compelling text, image, and video content that highlights the Omni Hilton Head guest experience.
  • Design social posts that build excitement around resort promotions, events, seasonal experiences, and local partnerships.
  • Grow and nurture the resort’s online community, increasing brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
  • Monitor trends across social media platforms and implement new ideas to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Collaborate with associates across all departments to capture authentic resort moments and feature team stories.
  • Engage with guests online by facilitating conversations, responding to questions, and managing comments and messages.
  • Monitor and report on online reviews, guest feedback, and social sentiment.
  • Develop and maintain an optimal posting schedule based on analytics and engagement data.
  • Maintain consistent visual branding and layout across social media platforms.
  • Partner with local attractions, events, and community organizations to showcase the best of Hilton Head Island and create compelling reasons for guests to visit.
  • Participate in bi-weekly marketing meetings to review campaign performance and plan future initiatives.
