About The Position

Blu Dot is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Coorindator to manage and grow our presence across Meta, Linkedin, and Pinterest. This role combines content planning, community engagement, PR support and brand storytelling to bring our brand's distinct voice and vision to life across digital platforms. You'll work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure our online voice reflects our brand mission and values while also considering content for all of our customer segments – Direct to Consumer, Trade and Contract, Wholesale.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Linkedin and Pinterest analytics tools.
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for design, composition and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience in design or furniture is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, schedule and publish content across Meta, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels in partnership with creative team.
  • Build content calendars that align with product launches, seasonal trends, store events, trade and contract support needs, and is consistent with other channels including email, site and paid media.
  • Optimize content formats (Reels, Stories, Carousels, Articles, Pins, etc) based on platform needs and results.
  • Build engaging content (in partnership with creative team) that drives shares, reach and follows across all platforms and for all customer segments.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to maintain a positive and active community across platforms.
  • Track customer sentiment and relay insights to the broader service and marketing teams.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with creators, influencers and brand advocates across direct to consumer, trade and contract audiences.
  • Assist with press outreach and communication efforts related to product launches, brand events in partnership with agency.
  • Coordinate influencer and media product sends.
  • Track press mentions and compile PR reports with agency.
  • Support the creation of press kits and editorial calendars.
  • Track KPIs for engagement such as website traffic, follower growth, saves and shares.
  • Drive growth in partnership with growth media team to optimize organic in partnership with paid media.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports with insights and optimization recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor activity and social trends to identify new opportunities.
