About The Position

Position: Social Media Coordinator Reports to: Principal FLSA: Exempt Status: Part-Time: 20-25 hours Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Social Media Utilize Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram to showcase, communicate, and engage with the community. Collaborates with Admissions and Advancement Offices. Develop communications aligned with the graphic standards of Bishop Snyder High School, including but not limited to colors, logos, and graphic layouts. Uphold the Catholic beliefs and values congruent with the brand of Bishop Snyder High School. Maintain the database of usernames and passwords of all Snyder social media accounts and oversee the administrators of these accounts. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: A Bachelor’s degree. Must be familiar with the church with knowledge of and commitment to Gospel values, Catholic moral and social teachings, and possesses a sound working knowledge of Church hierarchy and Church structure. Assertive personality, patient, responsible, committed, and able to deliver the message in a strong and consistent manner. Ability to face situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and with respect for the rights of others. Computer expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity and fluency with the use of technology and the ability to know how to team with others to creatively use technology to be more effective and efficient. Proficient in media editing software. Skilled in designing, developing, and implementing presentations and training programs. Skills and experience in writing comprehensive policies, guidelines, and compliance rules. Ability to work independently and to coordinate, schedule and direct others. This position possesses a high level of discretion and authority. Ability to project oneself in a positive, professional, sincere, and friendly manner. Must maintain appropriate professional business attire. Excellent research, interpretive, writing, editing, proofreading, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail. Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve complex problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities. Must be flexible, innovative in a fast-paced, time-critical environment and can work independently with high attention to deadlines.
