ROLE SUMMARY: The role of the Social Media Community Manager will work directly with the Heritage Auctions Social Media Director, content managers, and consignment directors to build, grow, and manage an online community of users and followers. They are responsible for developing community initiatives, managing social media platforms, and facilitating meaningful interactions between the brand and its audience. They act as a bridge between the brand and its audience, fostering engagement, representing the brand's voice, and promoting its image. This role involves content creation, community engagement, and reputation management. Portfolios must be submitted for consideration (see below). LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

Requirements

  • Years of related Professional Experience: 3-5 years
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Experience working in social media content creation and managing best practices across multiple platforms—focusing on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven experience in community engagement and fostering a positive community environment
  • Proven experience in community building: initiating conversations and finding opportunities to grow the brand
  • Culture-obsessed and aware of social trends

Responsibilities

  • Regularly collaborate with the Social Media Content Manager to ensure content aligns with strategy
  • Regularly collaborate with the paid social media team to ensure alignment across channels
  • Maintain editorial calendar
  • Experience with analytics and social listening tools
