About The Position

Core Spaces is seeking a Social Media Associate to support the growth and execution of our organic social strategy across our brands and communities. This role will help bring our brand voices to life online creating engaging content, maintaining quality across community accounts, and collaborating with creators and internal teams to build a social presence that connects with our audience. The Social Media Associate will play a key role in executing content calendars, producing social content, and helping maintain a consistent brand presence across Core Spaces’ portfolio. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, highly online, and passionate about storytelling through social media.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or content creation
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms
  • Experience creating short-form video and social-first content
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across brands
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with influencer or creator partnerships
  • Basic photo/video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
  • Experience managing brand social accounts or community accounts

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain content calendars for Core Spaces, Hub On Campus, and Oxenfree brand channels
  • Create and publish engaging content including short-form video, photos, captions, and platform-specific assets
  • Ensure all social content aligns with established brand voice, tone, and creative standards across the portfolio
  • Monitor and support 70+ community social media accounts to ensure consistent quality, engagement, and adherence to brand standards
  • Provide guidance and feedback to on-site teams on social media best practices and content opportunities
  • Identify standout content from communities that can be amplified across brand channels
  • Coordinate with agencies and partners to support creator and influencer programs
  • Assist in managing Core’s student creator initiatives (Hub Content Collective and other programs)
  • Support content briefs, creator communication, and delivery tracking for social campaigns
  • Partner with the student marketing team and property teams to align social content with leasing campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Assist in planning and executing social content tied to campaign launches, move-in, renewal, and new development openings
  • Track and report on organic social performance across brand channels
  • Monitor trends, competitive activity, and platform changes to recommend new opportunities and creative approaches
  • Identify top-performing content and help translate insights into future content strategies
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
