Moms First is a national nonprofit leading the fight for America’s moms. We are driven by our belief that motherhood is the unfinished business of gender equality. Founded by Reshma Saujani in 2021 at the height of the pandemic, our community of moms and supporters is 1.5 million strong and committed to fighting for a world where moms are valued and supported in our workplaces, communities, and culture. Moms First is seeking a Social Media Associate Producer to support the day-to-day planning, production, and community management of our social media presence across Moms First and our founder, Reshma Saujani. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and collaborating closely with the Social Media Manager, this role will play a critical hands-on role in producing high-quality, engaging content — particularly video — and helping steward an inclusive, values-aligned online community. The ideal candidate is a strong executor with excellent creative instincts, top-notch video production and editing skills, deep fluency in social platforms, and a passion for using storytelling to drive cultural change. You are organized, collaborative, and excited to bring ideas to life — from planning content calendars to producing short-form video to engaging directly with our community. Candidates must meet the requirement of New York City work policy, which requires 2-3 in-office days per week. This is not a virtual/fully remote position.
