About The Position
A Social Media Assistant/Marketing Assistant on the Coeur d’Alene Casino marketing team is in charge of assisting the Social Media Specialist in social media-related tasks, such as to plan, create, manage, implement, and evaluate the social media marketing for Coeur d’Alene Casino. In addition, the assistant will be assisting in other marketing department-related tasks, such as, but not limited to promotions and graphic design.
Requirements
- Some marketing experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats
- Excellent social listening skills
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing a results-driven social media strategy.
- Assist in development and curation of engaging content for social media platforms.
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
- Attend events and produce live social media content.
- Maintain unified brand voice across all social media channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create a social media content calendar.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
- Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media
- Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
- Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
- Help organize and coordinate casino promotions
- Work as an usher during concerts/MMA events
- Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs
- Work with the marketing team to manage brand and marketing initiatives
