About The Position

Sea Bags, the original maker of one-of-a-kind totes, handbags, and accessories crafted in the USA from recycled sailboat sails, is looking for a Full-Time Social & Content Marketing Manager to help expand our cultural relevance, brand visibility, and revenue impact across both Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Business-to-Business (B2B) channels. This role plays a critical part in shaping how the world experiences Sea Bags—through public relations, influencer and affiliate programs, collaborations, sponsorships, and community partnerships. The Social & Content Marketing Manager ensures our brand story is told consistently, and measurably across earned and owned channels, aligning creative storytelling with clear business outcomes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in brand marketing, content marketing, PR, influencer marketing, or affiliate programs.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing social media, content calendars, and performance reporting.
  • Experience managing influencer and/or affiliate programs with measurable ROI outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with PR agencies or directly with media contacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand professionally and authentically.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build and manage external partnerships.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance data and optimize strategy accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Ability to work on-site at a computer workstation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage execution of social media marketing strategy and content marketing initiatives across all brand platforms, ensuring cohesive storytelling and measurable engagement growth.
  • Manage influencer marketing programs from end to end—including identification, outreach, relationship cultivation, contract coordination, and performance analysis.
  • Oversee affiliate marketing program, optimize partner performance, and drive incremental revenue through data-informed decision-making.
  • Support public relations consultants in collaboration with leadership, securing placements that elevate brand awareness and credibility.
  • Activate brand collaborations aligned with Sea Bags’ mission, sustainability values, and target audience.
  • Oversee and execute sweepstakes campaigns and promotional partnerships designed to increase qualified traffic and audience acquisition.
  • Support sponsorship and community partnership initiatives that reinforce brand values and deepen local and national engagement.
  • Drive brand storytelling initiatives that strengthen awareness, loyalty, and cultural relevance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, E-commerce, Retail, B2B, and Leadership teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign alignment across all channels.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics related to PR placements, influencer ROI, affiliate revenue, partnership-driven traffic, and social engagement—translating insights into actionable strategy adjustments.
  • Contribute to strategic demand generation efforts that support seasonal campaigns and corporate revenue objectives.
