About The Position

We’re looking for a Social Content Creator Intern to join our social team and help bring Monster Energy to life through creative, trend-driven social content. This role is for someone who lives and breathes internet culture and knows how to turn moments, trends, and ideas into social content people want to watch, share, and engage with. The ideal candidate has experience creating social-first content and a portfolio that shows strong creative instincts across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. They’re constantly plugged into what’s trending, understand how content behaves differently across platforms, and know how to move quickly to create content that feels timely, authentic, and native to each channel. This is a hands-on creative role, from ideating concepts to capturing and editing social-first content. You’ll collaborate with the social team, digital marketing, and other cross-functional teams across the company throughout the content development process.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience creating social media content for digital platforms.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing social-first, short-form video content.
  • Deep understanding of social media culture, trends, and platform behaviors.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop preferred).
  • Experience using social-native editing tools (TikTok, Instagram, Edits, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools and workflows for content development and editing.
  • Ability to concept, shoot, and edit content quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience capturing social footage on mobile devices (iPhone) and lightweight gear.
  • Strong creative instincts and ability to translate moments into engaging social content.
  • Highly collaborative with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Passion for sports, gaming, and music is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in social-first content production across social channels that align with the overarching social strategy.
  • Develop creative content ideas that match brand voice, culture, and audience interests.
  • Stay on top of social media trends, formats, memes, as well as platform tools and behaviors to create timely and relevant content.
  • Edit engaging, short-form content using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and social-native editing tools
  • Maintain a consistent visual style and tone that reflects the Monster Energy brand identity.
  • Assist in capturing social content at local brand events and activations.
  • Continuously experiment with new formats, creative techniques, AI-assisted creative tools, and platform features to push the boundaries of social content.
