Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years with a Master's degree, or 4+ years with a PhD in SoC design, architecture, or debugging.
  • Expertise in debugging and debugging tools, such as Python or Python SV.
  • Experience with Design for Debug (DFD) methodologies and hardware architecture.
  • Proficiency in CPU architecture fundamentals, SoC validation, and validation environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of system architecture and SoC microarchitecture.

Responsibilities

  • Perform low-level and complex debugging for Intel products at the SoC level, addressing issues across multiple systems and subsystems.
  • Improve debugging processes by developing new design for debug (DFD) tools, scripts, and methodologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve marginality issues, triage failures, and isolate failing components of the system.
  • Define and implement architectural strategies for faster and securely debugging at the SoC and platform level.
  • Drive bench testing and create debug requirements while ensuring alignment with system architecture.
  • Develop and refine test methodologies for new device features and functionality.
  • Collaborate with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure SoC debug readiness and compatibility.
  • Act as a technical leader, mentoring peers, driving technical strategies, and aligning organizational goals with Intel's vision.
  • Demonstrate relentless execution in delivering industry-leading products and technologies to market.
