The primary purpose of this position is to advance the research of Dr. Anthony Vaccaro at the Winston Center on Technology and Brain Development. Specifically, this person will assist with studies examining neural and emotional responses to social media content. The responsibilities include participant recruitment, data collection, data management, handling delicate functional near-infrared spectroscopy and eye-tracking equipment, assistance with undergraduate research assistants, and managing study protocols. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. This individual is responsible for helping the PIs with human subjects-related research tasks and following established procedures. Basic computer skills are required, including familiarity with OSX and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic statistical knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. The research assistant will ensure the studies’ compliance with protocols and objectives.
