SOAR Program Ambassadors act as peer mentors, guides, and facilitators for high school scholars participating in the SOAR program. They are responsible for chaperoning and youth protection oversight from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM throughout the program, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with leading experts in biomedicine, providing exposure to cutting-edge research and career pathways. Ambassadors also mentor students on the college application process, navigating STEM majors, and exploring careers in biomedicine. This is an undergrad student wage position, requiring 40 hours per week from June 22nd to July 3rd, with compensation at $16 per hour.
