Requirements

• Ability to work extended hours if necessary
• Customer and quality focus
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly through a workday
• Valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events (on call 24/7 when snow is forecasted)
• Prepare and show up for shifts free from the influence of any drugs, alcohol, or medicines that influence safety or productivity
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on all small equipment
• Clear snow and ice accumulations from customer sites from designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, salt spreaders and bagged salt
• Pile snow in designated and approved locations only
• Always be available for communication
• Document and report any obstacles at sites
• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment
