Requirements

• Must be 21 years old with a clean driving record.
• The ability and stamina to work in cold weather conditions are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in snow and ice removal is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating snow removal equipment
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Snow and Ice Removal: Operate snowplows, shovels, and snow blowers to clear driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, and other areas of snow and ice. This includes performing de-icing activities and spreading salt or sand on affected surfaces.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Inspect and maintain snow removal equipment to ensure it is in good working order. This includes performing regular checks and preventative maintenance on tools and machinery.
• Site Assessment: Assess weather conditions and inspect sites to determine the necessary tools and equipment for effective snow removal. This involves monitoring forecasts to anticipate snowfall and adjust removal schedules accordingly.
• Safety Compliance: Post warning signs to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
