About The Position

The Groomer position at King Pine Ski Area is an integral part of our mountain operations team and plays a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality trail conditions for our guests. The Snow Groomer is responsible for operating grooming equipment to build, shape, and maintain ski trails while ensuring safe and efficient mountain operations. This role requires dedication, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Due to the nature of mountain operations, work hours and conditions can be extreme. Successful candidates must be willing and able to work in severe winter weather conditions and at all times of the day and night.

Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating machinery
  • Willingness and ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Operate grooming machines in a safe and efficient manner
  • Build, shape, and maintain ski trails
  • Ensure the safe operation and handling of grooming equipment
  • Communicate effectively with the maintenance team regarding equipment performance and needs
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team
