About The Position
Subaru of Thousand Oaks is looking for an experienced, motivated Smog-Certified Service Technician to join our award-winning service team. Requirements
- Current California Smog Certification (Required)
- Automotive technician experience (Subaru or other OEM certification a plus)
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to excellence
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and efficient diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Subaru vehicles and other makes
- Conduct California smog inspections in accordance with state regulations
- Complete multi-point inspections and document findings clearly
- Communicate effectively with advisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, professional work environment
- Deliver the high-quality service experience our customers expect
