We are searching for the best talent for SML Technical Specialist In this role you will primary technical support associated with the equipment in our staple maker lab. Manage staple development from concept to prototype for R&D including the following Develop Staple Maker Loader hardware for prototype development Coordinate and work with vendors for equipment acquisition and troubleshooting Technical expertise to troubleshoot staple prototyping for R&D Conduct in-depth maintenance of staple maker loader equipment Technical expertise for developing programs using HMI Develop nesting for new/prototype cartridges Utilize inspection processes to verify staple meets design intent Interpret GD&T drawing requirements Maintain an organized lab space Train new and support technicians on SML maintenance and operation Gather quotes for equipment, tooling, and consumables for PO creation

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • Programming equipment through HMI
  • Solidworks/NX/CAD design
  • Experience with Metrology equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Digital Microscopes)
  • GD&T drawing interpretation
  • Familiarity with various hand tools and assembly of equipment and machines
  • Ability to work with, assemble and repair production level equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in managing multiple parallel projects in a diverse team environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
