About The Position

KeenLogic is seeking a SME Scientist (Drinking Water) to support their team with one of their government clients. This position supports Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) in delivering Facility Environmental Compliance, Planning, and Resiliency Technical Support across Department of Defense (DoD) facilities. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with drinking water regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Responsibilities include developing sampling protocols, reviewing water system designs, and supporting system commissioning activities to maintain safe and compliant drinking water systems. This is a 5-year contract.

Requirements

Active Secret security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering OR Master’s degree in science or engineering
15+ years of experience with a bachelor’s OR 13+ years with a master’s
Supports compliance with all drinking water regulations laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
Provides expertise in investigation and planning of sampling protocols for drinking water systems
Conducts review of water system designs and aids in system commissioning
Provides updates to the existing Potable Water Management Plan as needed
