Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Laser Trim Operator on 1st shift (Monday – Thursday 4:30am – 3:00pm). Overtime is available as needed. Job Summary: Operates laser equipment for the manufacturer of resistors. Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to accurately interpret specifications.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Ability to handle and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Watches bridge to make sure it is trimming to correct value.
• Makes necessary adjustments on trimming to correct value.
• During cleaning, will visually inspect laser cut quality and perform SPC functions.
• Enters set-up into computer.
• Sets comparator on bridge to match the correct test sets.
• Loads raw material reel on to machine with correct wire size.
• Feeds strip into laser and makes necessary adjustments.
• Operates an average of 20 Lasag Lasers and ESI Traveling Bridge.
• Performs equipment set up and calibration
• Perform routine preventive tasks
