The SMB Account Executive focuses on increasing the revenue and success of our existing customer portfolio by using upsell strategies to move our customers to a higher software tier or adding on marketing and retention tools. The Role You’ll Play At Playlist, we believe the journey doesn’t end after onboarding , it’s where real growth begins. As an SMB Account Executive, you’ll work with our existing customer portfolio to unlock even greater potential. Through consultative conversations and creative upsell strategies, you’ll help wellness businesses scale their impact, deepen their client relationships, and thrive with the power of Mindbody’s solutions.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional sales experience, ideally in SaaS or the health and wellness industry.
  • A consultative approach to selling, focused on understanding customer goals and crafting tailored solutions.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to manage pipeline and forecast sales.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to connect at the executive level.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with web technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects with ease.
  • A calm, focused approach to high-energy environments, thriving even when juggling competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with current customers to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities to elevate their success with additional tools and features.
  • Initiate and maintain outreach through personalized calls, emails, and demos, always meeting customers where they are.
  • Deliver compelling solution-based consultations that drive upgrades and adoption of marketing and retention products.
  • Own your pipeline in Salesforce, strategically managing opportunities, forecasting revenue, and meeting or exceeding monthly goals.
  • Stay sharp on product updates, new features, partner offerings, and industry trends to bring fresh insights to every conversation.
  • Proactively design a daily, weekly, and monthly plan that supports hitting targets and minimizing churn.
  • Communicate with confidence and empathy at every touchpoint, from initial outreach to executive-level presentations.
  • Help shape the future of our customer experience by bringing back field insights to improve strategies, products, and services
